When all of India watched soul porn

Imagine if you started getting porn on your television channels. With a brand logo , advertisements etc. Imagine if your kids (or parents) sat with you and watched it, spoke about it and you shared it openly on your family WhatsApp groups. And then imagine if that was the worst kind of pornography - where people were being force raped (https://www.indiatoday.in/india/video/shocking-footage-of-rape-videos-being-sold-for-rs-10-in-up-444533-2016-08-06)

And then realize you all did exactly that...everyday, for months.

Rape is forced sexual intercourse, and gang rape is a crowd violating someone's body without permission for their hedonistic pleasure.

And since we revere Indian spirituality so much we should all know that the soul is greater than the body..the identity is greater than the physical being.

Over the last two months our media did just that, they raped an individuals soul. We destroyed her character , her career and her sense of being on prime time daily. They invaded her privacy, made her parents and brother criminals, destroyed her character on basis of heresay and we sat back and watched, comfy or rather excited on our beds.

And while rape may seem a strong word..but it is that. This was just not voyeurism or gossip where we were enjoying watching big boss or some mtv reality show. At worse there was some addiction there. Here there was almost a blood thirsty vengeance - she deserved it, let's violate every essence of an individual and her family.

You are definitely not the rapists but you enjoyed the porn!

(Keep it up, but remember very few people watch porn just once. And each time you watch it ,it's someone else being raped. The way things are going your family could be next)
